Identifying and Navigating Toxic Relationships

“Whoa! That’s A Red Flag” Program This 1-day event provides youth (ages 13-29) with a safe, supportive space to learn about healthy relationships and how to recognize red flags of toxicity. In two groups, 13-18 & 19-29, we host interactive workshops, with group activities where participants will gain valuable insights to navigate relationships with confidence. All participants have the chance to be matched with a “Big Sister” for ongoing mentorship over the next 6 weeks.

Program Objectives & Outcomes

Program Objectives:

  • Educate youth (ages 13-29) on healthy relationships and recognizing toxic red flags.
  • Provide a safe, supportive space for open discussions and peer learning.
  • Empower participants with confidence to navigate relationships wisely.
  • Offer mentorship opportunities for ongoing personal growth and support.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Increased awareness of healthy and unhealthy relationship dynamics.
  • Strengthened decision-making and boundary-setting skills.
  • Development of supportive peer and mentor connections.
  • Continued personal growth through a 6-week mentorship program.

6-Week / Mentorship

Enjoy 6-weeks of mentorship with a big sister or big brother! This inclduing one weekly check-in, while participants establish new healthy habits.

Self-Discovery / Events

Toxic enviroments and relationships can take a toll on identity. The self-development events help our youth build a healthier sense of self and relationships.
